Tak sengaja menemukan buku tugas DINAMIKA 2010 yang teronggok di lemari, lalu sedikit membaca-bacanya. Ketika membaca resume ini saya merasa sayang kalau ceramah itu terlupakan begitu saja, yah jadi saya blog saja. Well, tapi saya sedikit merubahnya sehingga tak sama persis dengan resume di buku tugas, tapi bukan perubahan yang material, cuma a bit grammar and idioms enhancements, isinya tetap saya pertahankan sama. Integrity: Help Others for Nothing But Love

What is an integrity? Mr. Hario Damar does not want to make a definition of integrity for us. He just want us to simply have it. Because it doesn’t mean anything when we understand what an integrity is but we don’t have it in our heart and soul.

He flashed back to the time when he was studying in STAN, the best college he ever recognize. He was in a class where the entire students not dropped out. He wants none of his classmates get dropped out. So he gathered his friends to study together and help them overcome their problems. He did it based on love for all of his classmates. That is what he called ‘integrity’, our action to help others based on nothing but love.

Integrity is not only based on the mortals, but also related to the immortals, God and religion. Integrity is about how we build ourselves to be a person who is true, not about what is the meaning of integrity. All religions are universal when speaking about integrity. There are only small differences.

He told us not to go down the road and do the long march using loudspeakers, but we must grab the sympathy of society using useful programs, for example the BMT (Baitul Maal wa Tamwil) and ‘rotated capital’ program which could help them empower themselves with good living and support our political view in turn.

He also several times pointed out the importance of softskill for STAN students like us. As a student, we must learn, learn, and learn. Learn the academic knowledge (hardskills), learn how to organize, and learn how to live in society (softskills). Softskills, including the ability to communicate is very important to face the carrier world. Thus, softskills must be trained at our age.

Isu psytrap-psytrapan yang dimulai oleh seorang Derp * can’t remember his name -_- *, yang massively menggalaukan ribuan mahasiswa STAN beberapa minggu lalu yang sibuk ber-UTS ria itu seharusnya tak perlu sampai taken seriously, jika kita memiliki integritas dan percaya integritas kawan-kawan seperjuangan kita. Integritas sebagaimana dimaksud Pak Hario Damar itu, yang tulus membantu hanya berdasarkan cinta, tanpa niat mempsytrap-psytrapkan.

Selamat Hari Valentine – ya saya tahu kalau ini terlalu cepat 1,5 bulan :”) Let’s help others for nothing but love (terutama untuk menyelamatkan para Forever Alones yang hidupnya serba kekurangan, kekurangan cinta #tsaaah) … mmuach :*

Eh? What? Tahun Baru? Itu makanan apa? Sorry ya saya baru denger kalau ada makanan khas Betawi yang namanya Tahun Baru, selama ini taunya cuma Kerak Telor sama Ketoprak… ._.
